Please Note: The wearing of face-coverings and distancing will still be required in our building.

To prevent waiting rooms of poorly people sitting together, most appointments with the GP will still be a telephone appointment or online consultation initially, followed by a face-to-face appointment where this is needed.

Where possible, our Nurse, Healthcare Assistant, and Clinical Pharmacist appointments will also be by phone. Obviously, some examinations and procedures do need to be done face to face, and we will spread these out through the day to allow for distancing, changing PPE, and room/equipment clean downs.

This does mean you need to wait a little longer to be seen face to face when that's required, but please be patient with us as we do our best to help you safely.

Appointments will not yet be available to book online or through the app, but you can use the online consultation (eConsult) link below to send us information and photographs about your problem. We can also send you a link to choose and book your own appointment for a Blood Test, Blood Pressure check, or Medication Review appointment.

Long Covid & Covid Recovery

If you have had Covid-19, you may still have some physical symptoms, such as breathlessness, a cough, and a lack of energy. You may also have psychological symptoms, such as feeling scared or anxious, depressed, having trouble sleeping, and struggling to remember or concentrate.

These symptoms, both physical and psychological, are common. Your Covid Recovery includes information from experts about how to manage them and look after your health and wellbeing. It also includes information on returning to work, and a helpful section for family, friends, and carers of people who are recovering.

Face coverings and masks do not inhibit or worsen lung function and we would encourage everyone who can, to wear one, particularly to enter any Healthcare facilities and Pharmacies. It may feel awkward at first, but it does get easier!

If you don't have a face mask, you can make one easily without sewing from a sock from the instructional video at this link

  • You have a disability that means you cannot put a mask on.
  • You have a disability that means you cannot wear or remove a mask.
  • Putting on a face mask would cause you severe distress.
  • If you use lip reading to communicate, the person supporting you to use public transport does not have to wear a mask.
